Although the traditional constabulary
campaign hat is associated with today's Pennsylvania State Trooper, of the first two hats worn, one
was fashioned to a
liking of the Irish helmet and the other was a "slouch hat" like those worn by Teddy
Roosevelt's Rough Riders. |
